The project C3 aims at developing methods of parameter and shape optimization with application to SBMF. By considering measurement uncertainties, the robustness of parameter optimization with respect to fluctuating input variables is reviewed. Applying the results to SBMF-processes gives an insight into the significance of the material parameters. For a further integration of shape optimization into the entire product developing process and to enhance its portfolio, the algorithms will be extend-ed to mesh adaptivity and multi-stage processes. Furthermore, uncertainties and manufacturing rest-rictions are taken into account.
