Final Report Abstract
The research conducted during this project has led to several comprehensive publications that report on nutrient limitation in the tropical North Atlantic ocean. The work developed and applied nutrient bioassay experiments and an apporach that was later adopted by several european and north american researchers. This is examplified in a work of Moore et al. (in Nature Geoscience, 2013) where many of the experiments and data originate from the Meteor cruises on which my group conducted nutrient bioassay experiments.
