Final Report Abstract
Although not all experiments could be performed, the main aims have been achieved and the result have revealed a complex function of ubi, which differs for the ligands. Moreover, our findings indicate that the bipartite mode of binding of Mib1 applies to several DSL-ligands of Drosophila and mammals and is therefore of general importance. However, the binding epitopes in the ICDs of the ligands can be different (NN-motif vs NB).
