By taking care of all known and in parts being unpublished fragments of the Hami manuscript of the Maitrisimit, being found in 1959, our work on the text had reached a new basis. In the running project all hitherto, until autumn of 2012, known manuscripts have been taken into consideration to compile a complete edition. All chapters of the texts have been transcribed, but on the basis of the partly bad photos we possessed at this time. By chance of a cooperation with the museum in Urumqi we could get very good photos of the so called Hami manuscript (now: Tömürti manuscript, according to the finding place) and were able to correct very many uncertain or wrong readings. Most important are the 251 new fragments being found in Nernasi which allowed us to restore the text in many parts. We possess very good photographs of the new fragments since the end of 2012. The necessary new work on the text, e.g. control of the transcription and translation, require an extension of the project for another two years.
