We continue to study rigidity phenomena for metric spaces and groups. A new ingredient is a combinatorial constructions of cocycles for discrete groups. For this, we study group actions on interesting spaces and in particular on buildings. Specific topics within the project are rigidity of quasi-isometries, rigidity of locally compact group topologies, the structure of locally compact groups, cocycles in discrete and in bounded cohomology, and property FA for wide classes of groups.
