Term
from 2011 to 2022
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 124020371
The long-term goal of project A04 is to provide methods that allow to determine resource consumptions of a system platform and to improve models of resource usage, in general. The models can be used to support application developers in designing resource-saving applications and can also be utilized by the application itself to behave in a resource-aware manner at runtime. Our research therefore aims at the automation of the model creation, the inclusion of resource productions into models (e.g. energy harvesting) and the consideration of real-time constraints. Additionally, the research focus will be raised from single platforms to more complex, highly distributed systems.
