The IRTG provides the educational framework for the PhDs of the CRC 902. The CRC-associated PhDs sign a supervision agreement and report their results on a regular basis. During their PhD theses, the PhDs join Winter and Summer Schools, which are organized as annual internal retreats where oral presentation, scientific writing, informal exchange about RNA methods and cooperation between the CRC groups are highlighted. The IRTG hosts guest speaker seminars and symposia of varying sizes (RNA Club, RNA Salon, international RNA symposia) and varying RNA-related research focus. In addition, the internal university research academies Grade (Goethe University) and Ingenium (TU Darmstadt) offer workshops suitable for each stage of a PhD thesis in cooperation with the CRC.
