During the new funding period, the activities and educational approaches will be extended, both regarding the content areas and the focus groups. After the reconstruction of educational approaches for school students and the public, which took place in the first phase of the TP Ö, the next funding period will also address pre- and in-service teachers - as multiplicators - as well as university students. The development of new content areas in co-operation with research groups from CRC677 will focus on the interdisciplinarity of the research within the CRC and will include e.g. further techniques, such as STM. Due to the great success of a competition for students from school and university, this measure will be repeated in 2017. To further increase public awareness, the TP Ö will extend its work on producing video podcasts with external partners. In addition a certificate program for PhD students and the embedding of social networks will be realised in co-operation with the IRTG.
