The national innovation systems (NIS) of Germany, Brazil and Vietnam will be analysed in order to identify how they influence sustainable development within the manufacturing industry and which sustainable business models (SBMs) are already applied by actors of each NIS. This will be input to create surrounding field scenarios for each NIS. Guidelines to create SBMs will be generated con-sidering technologies from CRC projects and from the selected NIS. All SBM created and identified during this project will be stored in an inventory, which will be used as a map to assist the selection and adoption of SBMs.
