Apart from classic public relations and building up a stakeholder network for sustainable manufacturing, this project is concerned with the scientifically sound development of innovative teaching and dissemination methods concerning the complex topic of sustainable value creation. On the one hand the research focuses on opening up the socio-scientific approach 'social labelling' for broad application in primary education by turning it from a direct communication path into an indirect one. On the other hand, possibilities and constraints of an open knowledge exchange within the scientific system are investigated. Instantiations of PA research are teaching materials such as working sheets as well as the prototypical implementation of the 'Sustainable Manufacturing Community', an open knowledge platform.
