Regulation of protein transport and neuroendocrine secretion by the ARF1-PKD complex at the Trans-Golgi network

Subject Area Cell Biology
Term from 2012 to 2016
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 211407159

Final Report Year 2021

Final Report Abstract

Conclusively, the XL-MS workflows developed in this project allowed identifying a number of protein interaction partner of PKD2 at the trans-Golgi network, most notably the Arp2/3 complex. Although our approach was exemplified for mapping the protein interaction network of protein kinase D2, it offers the potential to be applied to any protein system. In the meantime, the workflows have been modified and adapted in my group to allow conducting system-wide XL-MS studies. Therefore, the work done in this project was the groundwork for establishing and providing improved XL-MS tools to the community.
