The dynamics of wet granular matter is a subject aiming at promoting our current knowledge on dry granular matter to a more general case where the interactions between macroscopic particles arising from the wetting liquid are considered, since wetting is not ignorable in the earth largely covered with water. We propose to investigate experimentally by tracing the "macroscopic" behavior of wet granular matter, such as phase transitions and pattern formations, down to the "microscopic" dynamics associated with binary wet impacts. The outcome of this investigation could not only provide models for simulating wet granular matter, but also shed light on a continuum description for System far from thermal equilibrium in general.
