Subject Area

Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 196253076
An accurate control over final-state interactions (FSIs) is of paramount importance for our understanding of the most diverse aspects of particle decays involving hadrons: On the one hand, FSIs need to be considered in order to understand various aspects of the fundamental decay mechanism of a heavy state; on the other hand, they may teach us about the dynamics of the lighter decay products. Both aspects are central to this project, which focuses on the interplay between heavy-hadron decays and light-hadron dynamics, including both hidden and open charm and bottom mesons, with an emphasis on the large data body from BESIII, LHCb and COMPASS.
