Project Details
Multi-scale analysis of structures and processes via synchrotron radiation and neutrons (Z02)
Subject Area
Materials Science and Engineering
Term
from 2012 to 2024
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 192346071
The central project Z2 is using Synchrotron radiation and neutrons for the structural analysis of the hierarchical materials produced in the SFB, covering the whole bandwidth of length and time scales. In addition the correlative tomography will be pushed forward in the next funding period. For the advanced method development at the instruments, the focus of the upcoming funding period will be on in situ methods, enabling e.g. an in-depth time-resolved analysis of the materials processing.
