Project Details
Biophysical methods (Z01)
Subject Area
Biology
Term
from 2012 to 2024
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 201302640
The Z1 project provides access to biophysical techniques for members of the CRC which convey important information on the conformational states and dynamics of proteins as well as their shapes and the interaction of proteins in complexes. The techniques available within project Z1 are small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), surface plasmon resonance (SPR), hydrogen-deuterium-exchange mass spectrometry (H/DX-MS) and analytical ultracentrifugation (AUC). In addition to the availability of the instruments, expert technical advice is provided and training courses for doctoral students and postdocs are organised.
