Project Details
Quantitative protein analysis (Z1)
Subject Area
Biology
Term
from 2012 to 2021
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 201348542
We will continue to support all research projects with mass spectrometry (MS) expertise according to their needs; for example the Knob lab (TP10) and the Hell/Wirtz lab (TP13) with the analysis of protein N-termini, the Strahl lab (TP11) with identification of mannosylated peptides, the Pereira lab (TP21) with phospho-proteomics and the Sinning lab (TP22) with X-link MS. In addition, we will establish/improve procedures of common interest: 1. Generation of a “general” SILAC spike-in standard. 2. Extending shotgun proteomics by targeted protein quantification. 3. A toolbox to facilitate data interpretation of proteomics data sets.
