Since lattice QCD simulations are computationally very expensive, their feasibility strongly relies on algorithmic developments. Project B05 contributes in three ways: 1.) Transfer the idea of adapted nested force gradient integrators to Lattice QCD applications; 2.) Employ reweighting techniques to change the parameters of a simulation instead of doing a new simulation. These techniques are applied to the computation of isospin mass effects and to the tuning to the physical point; 3.) Optimize the integration of the Wilson flow, which is widely employed in lattice QCD. This technique is applied to the computation of the critical temperature.
