The Integrated Research Training Group aims at recruiting the best Ph.D. students for MAKI. Qualification, supervision, and organization concepts support the graduates towards obtaining their Ph.D. Further support is offered for Postdocs and Assis-tant Professorships. The qualification concept uses the following instruments for this purpose: retreats and scientific work-shops, BarCamps, Distinguished Lecture Series, international research stays, graduate level courses, supervision of research students, and soft-skill trainings. The supervision and organization concept provides the necessary framework for a goal-oriented and structured dissertation. Supervision mechanism include: co-supervisors, mentors, supervision agreements, pro-gress reports as well as milestone presentations.
