This project is responsible for all coordination issues of the SPP1689 (Climate Engineering: Risks, Challenges, Opportunities?). It organizes the internal communication and coordination of the project. Tasks include organizing the public launching event and the annual retreats of the entire SPP, and the reporting. It arranges the meetings, workshops, the soft-skill and cross-section education for the PhD students and supports the visits of guest scientists in Germany. In addition the coordination project offers gender equality measures and coordinates translations. The public relation issues of the SPP1689 on the controversially discussed topic “Climate engineering” are coordinated in this subproject. The PR measures put the general public, journalists, and especially teachers and pupils in the focus.
