ln this large-scale instrumentation proposal we apply for the establishment of the "Intelligent Autonomous Robotic Agents laboratory" at the University of Bremen. The Iaboratory will be the core experimental environment for the newly established "Intelligent Autonomous Systems" group in the Computer Science department and the Center for Computing and Communication Technologies (TZI) at the University of Bremen and the basis for our research, advanced research training, and the collaborative research projects of the group. The laboratory is planned to include research scenarios, including a kitchen, and an industrial workplace, a shopping and a biolab scenarios; two leading-edge high-end autonomous mobile manipulation platforms; and Iaboratory infrastructure to perform leading-edge research in the area of AI-based autonomous robot control of human-scale everyday manipulation tasks. The Iaboratory enables the group's research in various national and European projects.
