We plan to continue our study of the mathematical structure ofintegrable lattice models and quantum field theories. We wantto further develop methods for solving the spectral problem ofthis class of physical models and for the exact calculationof thermodynamic quantities and correlation functions. Our ultimategoal is to generalize recent advances in the exact calculationof correlation functions for models related to the six-vertexmodel (fundamental representations of U_q (sl_2)) to models related to higher rank quantum groups and to non-fundamentalrepresentations.
