The Central Project 2 (CP2) constitutes the administrative and coordinative core for the entire FOR. The main objectives are administration and coordination, organization of meetings and public relations. CP2 organises administrative contacts between the University administration, DFG, department administration, external collaborators such as the cooperating regional hospitals, CP1 and the WPs1-6. Furthermore, it will facilitate financial transactions and employment of personal. CP2 will manage and assign rotational positions (Gerok). CP2 will further organize regular meetings and conferences. PIs, staff, and junior researchers will meet on a monthly basis throughout the whole duration of the project. A research retreat will be organised yearly. A larger symposium on core topics of the FOR with national and international guests will be held on an annual basis. Public visibility of the FOR and transfer of research results will be granted by CP2 by a corporate design, the setup and maintenance of an internet website, as well as the establishment of contacts with the press to make research results available for the public.
