In well organized construction projects the logistics and construction processes should be thoroughly co-ordinated with each other. For this task the construction industry still lacks an appropriate scientific basis as well as the right means for reducing the complexity of a model, if site processes shall be modelled within a simulation environment. Thus a fundamental approach is proposed to analyse the major impacts from construction logistics and construction processes on each other within the same construction project. A typology will be developed in order to reduce complexity, to identify the governing parameters of both logistics and processes as well as the show which parameters could be neglected.
