The SqRA method allows to establish a direct link between an energy landscape and the kinetics of a molecular process. Thus, one can build kinetic models without sampling the transition rates. The last funding phase has shown for low-dimensional systems that SqRA is an efficient tool. We want to extend it for protein-ligand binding processes and better understand its mathematical struture in terms of its thermodynamic significance.
