Term
from 2014 to 2019
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 239994235
Project B06 has the goal of creating performance models, noise budgets and experimental prototypes for future missions similar to the Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment Follow-On mission (GRACE-FO). Here, emphasis lies on the laser interferometry along the long arm in contrast to the local effects, which are studied in other geo-Q projects. In particular, we will experimentally study new interferometer topologies and the initial acquisition problem.
