Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 231064407
The project used the concept of the “organism” in biology, architecture and engineering to evaluate theoretically the basic conditions under which the field of constructional biomimetics can develop into a science. In the second funding period, the investigation will be shifted towards a historical review of selected case studies. In addition, the project extends the developed glossary of terms towards a domain-ontology for the field of architectural biomimetics as a digital knowledge representation network.
