Ultra-high resolution surface studies of topological superconductors (C02)

Within this project, we will employ a novel STM technique that combines ultra-high spatial with improved spectroscopic resolution by employing STM tips functionalized by Co and Nb. we will study two-dimensional thin film hybrid systems, one-dimensional adatom chains, thin films of heavy elements with strong spin-orbit coupling and topological insulators.
