Symmetry-protected nodal phases in correlated electron systems (C07)
Subject Area
Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics
Term
since 2015
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 258499086
This project aims to understand the strong-coupling phases of topologically non-trivial band structures, in which electronic correlation effects have opened a spectral gap without the concomitant onset of a long-range order. The physics of topological Mott insulators and of their exotic boundary phenomena are addressed by combining Green’s function methods and non-perturbative calculations of one-particle self-energy as well as two-particle vertex functions.
