Proteomic analysis (Z04*)

Z04 will provide state-of-the-art EPR capabilities including spin labeling with orthogonal probes. The project aims at optimizing approaches particularly well suited for studying the architecture of multidomain protein scaffolds at membranes. Hyperfine spectroscopy and power saturation techniques will be used to detect specific interactions with the membrane bilayer and pulsed dipolar techniques as DEER will be used to detect protein-protein distance information.
