Regulatory Networks that Control ILC2 Function in Acute and Chronic Inflammation (A08)

Subject Area General and Visceral Surgery
Term from 2015 to 2019
Project identifier Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 261193037

Project A08 will target the chemokine-triggered interplay between tissue-infiltrating ILC2 and Treg focusing on mechanisms relevant for resolution of mucosal inflammation. Based on preliminary data that show an impact of chemokine receptors CCR4, CCR6 and CCR8 on the function and tropism of human and murine ILC2, A08 aims to understand how these receptors and their ligands influence co-localization and the crosstalk between ILC2 and Treg (as effectors of resolution of inflammation). A08 additionally provides a strong expertise in microbiota sequencing to CRC1181.
