Project Z02 is the central imaging project that supports the entire CRC consortium. It is composed of the OICE (cutting edge microscopy) and PIPE (small animal imaging). Through intensive use of a range of imaging modalities, substantial support for the CRC subprojects was also ensured in the 2. funding period. The imaging platform helps to characterize the temporal and spatial changes during resolution of inflammation in whole animals, organoids and cells. Furthermore, computer-supported and artificial intelligence-based quantification and reconstruction of multi-dimensional data sets is coming into focus.
