Subproject C4: On-The-Fly Compute Center II: Execution of Composed Services in Configurable Compute Centers (C04)

The objective of this subproject is resource management: How can we allocate the resources necessary for the execution of OTF services (consisting of several interlinked, interacting components) in such a way that this execution becomes efficient? An OTF Compute Center is designed in such a way that it can profitably exploit the properties of OTF services. In the third funding period, we want to develop a comprehensive approach for modelling. For our algorithms, we will prove guarantees beyond competitiveness and implement them in existing management systems.
