Final Report Abstract

The "Information System Graffiti in Germany" (INGRID) is a co-operation between the University of Paderborn and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The task and aim of the project was to compile extensive graffiti image collections, digitise them, make them accessible in a database through systematic, ontology-based annotation and make them available to scientific research in an efficient information system. The provision of scientifically usable images and high-quality metadata was intended to create a basis for interdisciplinary scientific research into graffiti.
