Project Details
Characterization of membrane protein complexes by protein mass spectrometry (Z01)
Subject Area
Biology
Term
since 2016
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 267205415
The central project gives access to infrastructure and know-how for state-of-the-art mass spectrometry-based characterization of membrane proteomes and membrane protein complexes. It will take advantage of the mass spectrometry-based proteomic workflow already established at the Molecular Proteomics Laboratory and will in close collaboration with the project partners establish tailored protocols for i) the quantification of membrane and (sub-) cellular proteomes, ii) the characterisation of membrane protein complexes and protein-protein interactions as well as iii) the elucidation of structural protein information by protein crosslinking using high-resolution mass spectrometry.
