Final Report Abstract
Taken together, we have discovered that HIF-1α activation in macrophages during inflammatory activation drives the metabolic adaptation of mitochondrial function necessary for bactericidal activity but jeopardizes the macrophage’s life. This effect of HIF-1α was mediated by the inverse regulation of miR-210 and miR-383, which synergistically affects inflammatory macrophage necroptosis.
