The Project will follow up two related subsidiary goals: In the first Phase the field names and minor names handed down in Western Pomerania will be collected out a huge number of sources and entered in a data bank. The second Phase will Focus on the Evaluation of the collected names. The aim is to publish the results of this evaluation in one comprehensive dictionary to be used as a reference for field names in Western Pomerania that covers all linguistically relevant questions.
