The current project represents the continuation of the central project of a DFG initiative that funds individual projects for the development of generic tools and infrastructures for medical collaborative research (primarily IT and research methodology). The work of the initiative is carried out using the TMF as a common platform for the content-related and organizational coordination of the projects.More specifically, the central project has the tasks of (1) enabling TMF staff to participate in individual projects and to integrate the know-how of the TMF office into the project work, (2) to connect individual projects to the specialist community (mainly through active participation in the TMF working groups) so as to promote synergies and ensure the broad use of the project results, and (3) to sustainably deliver and disseminate the project results in the professional community. In addition, the central project ensures that the created tools and infrastructures are strategically developed further as part of the TMF portfolio and become integrated into the currently developing concept for the operation of services at TMF.The objectives mentioned are essentially identical to those of the pre-proposal and reflect the work of the central project successfully completed in the project so far.
