Term
since 2016
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 265191195
A02 focuses on the guiding configuration droplet, which is used to investigate dynamic processes in droplet coalescence and break-up with high resolution. In funding period 3, complex, practically relevant fluids will be examined in droplet coalescence, including those used for coatings and characterized by gel formation. Another focus is the investigation of the phenomenon of charge separation and its effects on the coales-cence and break-up of droplets. With regard to applications in which droplet coalescence and break-up play a role, methods for controlling and suppressing the corresponding electrostatic effects are to be re-searched.
