The project focuses on deepening the understanding of momentum, heat and mass transport phenomena in the wetting of porous coatings. In funding period 3, (i) the impact of a droplet and the imbibition of the liquid into a porous surface coating, (ii) the interactions between several droplets on the coated surface, (iii) the wetting and dewetting at a defined velocity and (iv) at a defined centrifugal force are considered. The wet-ting, imbibition and evaporation of viscoelastic liquids, surfactant solutions and nanosuspensions on heat-ed and unheated substrates are investigated.
