In B04, methods for the calculation of sensitivites and adjoints are further developed and extended by a more detailed treatment of dynamic contact lines. With B07N, these investigations will be extended to phase field approaches in OpenFOAM. The complexity is successively increased (non-Newtonian fluids, tempera-ture dependence, more complex contact angle dynamics) and will be extended with B02 to include transport on the interface. Optimization under uncertainties will be taken into account using robust optimization methods. Bilevel formulations and suitable multilevel methods will be developed and methods for the optimal design of experiments will be extended by Bayesian techniques.
