Due to the requirements of the scientific sub-projects and the constraints of the method "Colored States" different provisioning modes for micro samples are required. Therefore, sub-project P04 investigates multimodal handling to enable high throughput methods for handling and testing of micro samples. Based on a multimodal handling concept, the non-damaging fixation and releasing of micro samples and an innovative module for the intermodal transfer is investigated.
