We will identify motivated dark-matter scenarios which are demanding at colliders, because e.g. of suppressed portal couplings, exotic signatures, small mass splittings or because of the fact that the dark sector interacts most strongly with third-generation Standard Model matter. Exploring the resulting LHC signatures requires a multi-prong approach. In this context, we will investigate scenarios that feature important non-perturbative effects in the evaluation of the relic density and their implications on their collider phenomenology.
