Project Details
Charge-carrier Mobility in Self-assembled Monolayers (C05)
Subject Area
Physical Chemistry of Solids and Surfaces, Material Characterisation
Term
from 2017 to 2020
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 281029004
The goal of this project is to develop (resp. further improve) a novel method to determine intrinsic charge carrier mobilities in well-defined, highly ordered areas of OSC-based SAMs (self-assembled monolayers). OSC-molecules, which are of interest for the SFB, will be modified by attaching anchor groups, which allows to graft them on Au-substrates. The determination of the electronic transport properties will be carried out by employing a conductive-probe atomic force microscope.
