The project investigates the access of referential and conceptual antecedents across lexical, semantic, syntactic, and narrative domains. It examines parameters influencing prominence competition between concepts and explores how prominence cues enable referential chains across different narrative layers in German and Turkish. Additionally, it investigates dialogue production and comprehension in visual environments, emphasizing the unique processing skills required for understanding comics.
