Larger and more complex simulations require adapted visualizations so the user can analyze the data interactively and aided by algorithms. This is in the focus of the third funding period besides data sets with inhomogeneous temporal and spatial resolutions and multi-physics simulations. To keep up with the steadily growing data sets, raw data have to be compressed so that the relevant visual and application-specific physical properties remain intact. The newly developed algorithms and concepts are integrated into the software framework MegaMol which remains the basis for cooperation with other sub-projects.
