Project B05 investigates the impact of moiré superlattices on electronic excitations in tunable TMDC hetero-bilayers and homo-multilayers using electronic Raman scattering. Part A focuses on low-energy excitations of correlated states like Mott insulators and Wigner crystals in doped MoSe2/WS2 structures. In part B, electrically tunable intersubband transitions in multilayers, split by spin-orbit coupling, are investigated, which enables probing of relativistic effects and moiré signatures.
