Dentate gyrus activity patterns and their intra-hippocampal coordination in behavior and disease (A05)

This project will use genetic and chemogenetic manipulation of dentate granule cells and mossy cells in the hippocampus to study the role of these dentate gyrus neurons within the larger hippocampal-entorhinal memory system in memory consolidation.
