On chiral molecular prototypes, we will1.) perform experiments on coherent control of photoelectron circular dichroism (PECD): we will realize a double-slit experiment via two excitation pathways to create interference in the PECD of fenchone. Ultimate-ly, we will use our ability to tailor a white light continuum in phase and amplitude to coherently control PECD on heavier fenchone derivatives. 2.) study PECD from extended electron distributions: statically in triangulanes and dynamically using mo-lecular Rydberg wave packets as space-dependent probes.
