The main objective of the project is to develop single-domain TPM-phase-field models to address applications for fluid-driven fracturing processes in fully and partially saturated, deformable porous media at the REV (macroscopic) scale. In this methodological approach, we also aim to consider evaporation processes in fracturing porous media with saline pore fluids. Within the CRC, we will continue to develop modelling and simulation contributions in close collaboration with tailored experimental investigations.
