We contribute with models and numerical methods to the description of multiphase flow involving chemically reactive species in porous media. Our models span from the pore scale, up to the REV-scale range. We will focus on the advancement of pore-scale models to encompass interfacial processes associated with mechanical deformation, gas dissolution, and convection-dominated flow regimes. We will extend our simulation tools for the new pore-scale models and will develop efficient computational two-scale algorithms. We will derive effective REV-scale models by formal asymptotics and rigorous homogenisation.
